Motherhood is beautiful, but it can also be overwhelming, confusing, and lonely. I created MasalaMommy to change that.
As a Maternal Well-Being & Transition Coach, I support women through the full journey of becoming a mother — from pregnancy, to postpartum, to returning to work — blending emotional support, holistic health guidance, and practical education.

For the past nine years, I’ve helped women feel prepared, confident, and deeply supported during one of the most transformative seasons of their lives. My approach weaves together modern maternal health education with mindfulness practices and principles inspired by Ayurveda, giving moms a grounded, nurturing experience that honors both mind and body.

My mission is simple:
to help women move through pregnancy, postpartum, and the return-to-work transition feeling healthier, more supported, and more empowered — not overwhelmed.

My Story
I’m a mom of three boys, and my motherhood journey began in 2011. Like many first-time mothers, I stepped into this new role expecting joy—but also bracing myself for struggle. What I didn’t expect was how often I was told that early motherhood had to be overwhelming, chaotic, and a season of “losing yourself.”

But as I moved through those early months, something inside me knew that wasn’t the whole truth. Motherhood wasn’t the end of who I was—it was the beginning of a deeper version of me.
It was a period of self-discovery, not self-erasure. A season that deserved to be honored, not endured.

Over the next decade, as I welcomed two more babies, I saw firsthand the gaps in the support systems around new moms. We were taught how to prepare for birth, but not how to care for ourselves. We were told to “bounce back,” but not how to heal. We were encouraged to keep going, but rarely encouraged to slow down.
So I began making changes—to my routines, my mindset, and my expectations. I leaned deeply into my heritage and the practices that had always grounded me: meditation, yoga, Ayurveda, and mindful living. These weren’t luxuries; they were lifelines.

As I integrated these Eastern practices into modern-day motherhood, everything shifted. I felt more connected, calmer, more capable, and more myself. It genuinely felt like I had unlocked a missing piece of the motherhood experience—and I knew I couldn’t keep it to myself.

That realization is what led me to this work.

Today, I’m a Certified Ayurvedic Postpartum Doula, Certified Pregnancy Health Coach, and author of Expecting: A Pregnancy Journal. Supporting women through pregnancy, postpartum, and the return-to-work transition is not just my career—it’s my calling.

Helping new and expecting moms find calm in the chaos, feel grounded in their identity, and lead healthier, more intentional lives is the mission behind everything I do. Because moms carry the most important role in the world: raising conscious, connected human beings. And we can’t pour into them from a place of depletion, stress, or survival mode.
I believe early motherhood can be a time of strength, clarity, and profound transformation. And I’m here to help women experience it that way.

Mindful Mother of Three Boys
I help new and expecting moms feel deeply grounded, supported, and seen — especially during a season when so much feels new, tender, and uncertain.
I guide women through pregnancy, postpartum, and the return-to-work transition with the clarity, confidence, and calm they’ve been craving… so they don’t just “get through it,” they feel like themselves through it.
Because you deserve more than survival mode.
You deserve to feel nourished, empowered, and centered — in your body, your identity, your relationships, and the way you show up in the world.
When a woman feels held and aligned in her own journey, everything shifts: her health, her joy, her work, her partnerships, and the way she parents. It all becomes more intentional. More connected. More hers.
If you’re ready to feel supported in that way — to have someone walking beside you who understands the emotional and practical realities of this transition — I’d love to connect with you.
